Home-Start Birmingham Central and South-West

Working in local communities since 2006, Home-Start Birmingham Central and South-West currently support families across Bartley Green, Edgbaston, Harborne, Ladywood, Quinton and Soho.

All Home-Starts offer locally trained volunteers to provide emotional and practical support to families in their own homes. However each individual Home-Start offers a range of additional services/support groups and activities for parents and their children.

Home-Start Birmingham Central and South-West’s additional services

Group Home-Start Birmingham Central And South-West run two weekly Nurture Groups in Ladywood children’s Centre. They are free and is open to any family in our districts with a child under 5. Please contact us at admin@homestartbcsw.org to register for group.

At Ladywood Children’s Centre, Plough and Harrow Road, term time only.

Tuesday 1.00  – 2.30 pm for children 18 months plus

Wednesday 1.00 – 2 pm for babies up to 18 months

These groups help parents to reduce isolation and build friendships. It helps children to learn and develop. Healthy snacks provided.
