Working in local communities since 1989, Home-Start Birmingham North and Inner City currently support families across Aston, Erdington, Handsworth Wood, Lozells & East Handsworth, Nechells and Stockland Green.

All Home-Starts offer locally trained volunteers to provide emotional and practical support to families in their own homes. However each individual Home-Start offers a range of additional services/support groups and activities for parents and their children.

Our office is open 9am – 5pm Monday – Thursday and Friday 9am – 3.30pm

Home-Start Birmingham North and Inner City’s additional services

Counselling for children and adults on a Monday and Wednesday (Contact us for more information)

Family Groups: Tuesday 9.15 – 11.45 am and Thursday 9.15 – 11.45 am and 1.00 – 3.00 pm

Baby Club (Baby Massage courses regularly run) on Wednesday 11.30 am – 1.00 pm

Nurture Groups on Wednesdays 9.30am – 12pm and 1pm – 3pm Held at Erdington Methodist Church Wesley Road Erdington B23 6TX

ESOL (English as a Second or Overseas Language course) on Friday 9.30 am – 11.30 am is also held at the Methodist Church

All the above is term time only

They also run trips during the 6 week school holidays for the whole family
